Charleston has always been a haven for creativity. This autumn and winter we continue the legacy of the artists who lived and worked here with a series of creative workshops and masterclasses. As ever, craftsmanship, innovation and beauty remain the hallmarks of our programme.
This season our programme glistens with workshops in gilding and silver. Explore texture and colour in our quilting, tapestry and woodcutting workshops, and experiment with different media in our drawing, oil and watercolour workshops.
Our intensive day-long workshops are held in Quentin Bell’s Pottery. Small class sizes mean one-on-one attention from our tutors. Our workshops begin with a chance to spend time in the House, with tours tailored to the discipline of the day. Enjoy an artisan lunch sourced from local suppliers. End the day with new knowledge and skill to enhance your continuing creative practice.
